Detail: Position Title：Plant Assistant / Production Engineer

Reports To：Plant Manager
Position Overview
This role supports the Plant Manager in overseeing daily factory operations, ensuring efficient production, quality control, inventory management, and equipment maintenance. The position is also expected to develop into a future leadership role, with the potential to grow into a Plant Manager position.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in industrial cable manufacturing and demonstrate both technical expertise and leadership capability.
Key Responsibilities
Production & Operations
* Oversee manufacturing processes for industrial cables and related products
* Monitor and report production status in real time
* Manage finished goods and work-in-progress inventory
* Coordinate shipping and receiving schedules
Inventory & Materials Management
* Manage consumables and raw materials
* Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels
* Conduct inventory tracking and cycle counts
Equipment & Facility Management
* Maintain and manage factory equipment and tools
* Troubleshoot and coordinate equipment repairs
* Ensure workplace organization (4S) and safety compliance
Quality Control
* Lead product inspections and quality checks
* Prepare and manage quality-related documentation
* Investigate defects and identify root causes
* Communicate with customers and external vendors regarding quality issues
* Support corrective actions and non-conformance handling
Reporting & Documentation
* Prepare monthly and inspection reports
* Analyze and report production and quality data
Additional Responsibilities
* Support outsourcing coordination
* Assist with plant tours and visitor support
* Support exhibition setup and teardown
* Perform other plant-related duties as needed
Candidate Profile
* Experience in **industrial cable manufacturing** (not limited to standard wire harness)
* Background in:Cable assembly、Production engineering
* Ability to work beyond operator-level tasks and contribute to operational improvement and management
* Leadership potential with the ambition to grow into a Plant Manager role

* Minimum 5 years of experience in areas such as:
* Production control
* Quality control / quality assurance
* Inventory management
* Equipment maintenance
* Calibration
* General plant operations
