Overview

The Inventory Planning Supervisor is responsible for managing procurement and order processing functions to support parts distribution across the Caribbean and Latin American markets. This role focuses on ensuring parts availability, improving backorder recovery, maintaining delivery accuracy, and managing inventory levels. The position also oversees purchase order management and supplier coordination to ensure timely product delivery. Additionally, the role identifies opportunities to optimize supply planning processes through data analysis and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
Manage procurement activities for parts and accessories across the Latin America and Caribbean regions.
Execute supply chain management tasks in accordance with standard operating procedures while resolving operational issues in collaboration with internal departments.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver timely and high-quality customer service while ensuring compliance with internal procurement policies.
Prepare and present weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports, and communicate key issues to management.
Analyze supplier performance and implement improvement strategies while monitoring and achieving departmental KPIs.
Stay informed of new product launches and ensure appropriate inventory levels for parts and accessories.
Monitor supplier orders and anticipate potential shortages or supply chain disruptions.
Ensure supplier compliance with company policies and procedures to minimize supply interruptions.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of experience in operations, purchasing, supply chain management, or logistics within a distribution environment.
Strong understanding of multinational operations.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities (bilingual English and Spanish preferred).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Experience in the automotive or motorcycle spare parts industry within the LATAM or Caribbean markets is a plus.
Knowledge of import processes and harmonized codes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple teams and organizational levels.
Ability to travel internationally up to 10%.
