Detail: Japanese aerospace trading company seeks a Japanese Bilingual Supply Chain Buyer -Torrance, CA.

Salary Range: $62K (Hourly equivalent based on 35–40-hour workweek)

Job Summary:
This position is responsible for coordinating communication between our overseas office and domestic suppliers to ensure the timely procurement of products and services requested by our customers. The role requires strong bilingual communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment. The ideal candidate will build strong supplier relationships, negotiate effectively, and support smooth end‑to‑end procurement operations.

Responsibilities:
Procurement & Supplier Management
●Source products and services based on customer requirements and company standards.
●Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers to achieve cost‑effective procurement.
●Build and maintain strong relationships with domestic suppliers.
●Conduct on‑site supplier visits to assess production capabilities, quality standards, and operational processes.
●Monitor supplier performance and address issues related to quality, delivery, or service.

Order Management & Operations
●Enter supplier quotations and related data accurately into the internal system.
●Issue purchase orders, track delivery schedules, and ensure timely fulfillment.
●Coordinate after‑sales support, including handling claims, discrepancies, and product issues.
●Maintain clear and timely communication with overseas offices, suppliers, and internal teams.
●Prepare reports and documentation related to procurement activities, pricing, and supplier performance.

Communication & Coordination
●Serve as a key liaison between overseas offices, domestic suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
●Manage high‑volume email communication in both English and Japanese.
●Provide updates on order status, delivery timelines, and potential risks.
●Collaborate with logistics, sales, and customer service teams to support smooth operations.
●Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
●Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
●Bilingual in English and Japanese (must be able to read, write, and communicate professionally in both languages).
●Ability to travel domestically for supplier visits and business meetings.
●Entry‑level candidates are welcome if they have 1–3 years of full‑time working experience.
