Overview
We are seeking an Infrastructure & Cloud Operations Engineer with broad technical knowledge across servers, cloud platforms, and system implementation. This role supports monitoring, operations, and deployment activities across on‑premise and cloud environments. The ideal candidate brings hands‑on engineering experience from Japan and is comfortable working across multiple technology domains rather than specializing in a single area.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide operational support for infrastructure environments, including server monitoring and basic administration for Linux, Windows Server, and VMware platforms.
• Support cloud operations across major cloud services (e.g., Azure, AWS), including monitoring, configuration assistance, and general operational tasks.
• Assist in system implementation projects, including environment setup, system integration, and coordination with internal teams and vendors.
• Contribute to troubleshooting activities across infrastructure, cloud, and application layers.
• Collaborate with project teams to support upstream processes such as requirement review, basic design understanding, and system integration planning.
• Maintain documentation and ensure operational best practices are followed.
Required Experience & Qualifications
• 5–7 years of experience as a System Engineer in Japan (required).
• Note: This is not a senior-level position; candidates with 10+ years of experience will not be considered for this role.
• Practical experience in infrastructure operations, system development, or upstream project processes (requirements, design, or integration).
• Broad technical knowledge across multiple areas rather than deep specialization, including:
• Infrastructure operations (servers, networks, virtualization)
• Cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
• DevOps concepts such as CI/CD pipelines
• System integration and inter‑system connectivity
• Ability to work collaboratively, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to diverse technical environments.
