Summary:
• We are seeking an experienced B2B Outside Sales Representative to maintain and grow sales of residential and commercial decorative material products in the United States and Canada. This role focuses on building strong customer relationships, providing high-quality service, and driving new business development within the architectural, interior, and furniture-related industries.
This is a remote position based in Michigan, with frequent travel to customer sites, primarily across the Midwest and Canada.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and grow existing customer accounts through consistent communication and exceptional customer service
• Identify, develop, and secure new B2B customers
• Conduct sales presentations, product proposals, and customer visits
• Coordinate sample development, order solicitation, production scheduling, and post-sale follow-up
• Act as the main point of contact for customers’ Purchasing, Quality Control, R&D, Design, and Logistics teams
• Collaborate closely with internal teams and overseas offices to manage the full sales cycle from pre-production through delivery
• Prepare quotations, contracts, and follow up on pricing and terms
• Research industry trends in architecture, interior design, and decorative materials to support new product and design development
• Research new markets and industries; prepare reports and identify potential clients
• Attend trade shows and industry events to promote products and establish new business relationships
• Prepare sales reports, customer correspondence, and other business documentation
• Perform other sales-related duties as needed
Qualifications/Requirement:
• Proven experience in B2B Outside Sales
• Must have minimum of 5 years of B2B sales and/or marketing experience
• Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently in a remote environment
• Ability to travel frequently within the U.S. (primarily Midwest) and Canada
• Valid driver’s license and ability to use a personal vehicle for business travel
• Basic computer proficiency (email, spreadsheets, documents, CRM systems)
