Detail: Japanese logistics company in is seeking an Import operator or supervisor
Position Summary
This role utilizes strong English–Japanese bilingual skills to support import operations and warehouse activities. Responsibilities include communication with overseas suppliers, coordination with customers, import scheduling, data entry, and invoice processing. Candidates with at least one year of experience as a Supervisor or Operator in the logistics field are highly encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
Import Operations
• Communicate with overseas suppliers (in English)
• Coordinate import and delivery schedules with customers (in English and Japanese)
• Review and arrange import-related documents
• Enter data into internal operating systems
• Prepare and issue invoices
• Perform other import-related tasks as needed
Warehouse Operations (Preferred but not required)
• Operate forklifts (license/certification preferred)
• Manage inbound/outbound shipments and inventory
• Coordinate with warehouse staff
Other Duties
• Occasional weekend support may be required (limited frequency)
• Contribute to workflow improvements and operational efficiency
Qualifications
• Practical experience in the logistics industry (required)
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Supervisor or Operator
• Business-level bilingual proficiency in English and Japanese
• Basic PC skills (data entry, system operations)
• Strong communication skills and ability to multitask
• Forklift experience is a plus

Salary: Operator (1-4years experience) $40-50K
Supervisor (5 or more years experience) $65-70K
