Detail: Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure Engineer to join an IT solutions team supporting both general customers and group subsidiaries. This position is responsible for the design, implementation, and administration of IT infrastructure including servers, networks, and client systems. The role requires strong technical expertise, bilingual communication skills, and a proactive approach to system support and improvement.
【Role and Responsibilities:】
- Attend meetings with customers to clarify requirements and plan implementation projects, including preparing quotes.
-Design, install, and administer servers, network devices, and client devices.
-Create and maintain technical documentation for system configurations and procedures, ensuring proper change history records.
-Provide technical support to end users via email, phone, remote desktop, or on-site visits.
-Proactively monitor systems to detect and resolve potential issues before they become critical.
-Communicate with customer executives and end users to identify unreported issues and propose new technology solutions.
-Collaborate with hardware/software vendors to obtain pricing, process repair requests, and issue quotes.
-Manage support requests through ticketing systems, calls, and emails.
【Required Skills-Qualifications:】
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field preferred.
Experience assembling PCs and configuring managed network switches and firewalls.
Required Technical Skills-Dell or other Intel x64 Server Hardware
Windows Server and RedHat Linux installation/administration
Hyper-V or VMware virtualization
LAN (Layer 2 switching, wireless)
Basic network protocols (DHCP, DNS, SMTP, HTTP, FTP, SSL)
