Summary:
The Marketing Assistant will support our Dallas office in day-to-day marketing and sales activities. This position is
entry-level and ideal for a candidate who is motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn about the fiber optics
industry. The role will provide training and opportunities to grow into more advanced marketing and business
responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in preparing and organizing marketing materials (presentations, brochures, website updates)
• Support marketing campaigns and trade show/event activities.
• Conduct simple research on market trends and competitors.
• Maintain customer and sales databases.
• Provide general administrative support to the sales and marketing team.
• Assist with internal and external communication.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Ability to manage multiple small tasks and follow instructions.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and interest in technology.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field (or equivalent
experience).
• Internship or part-time work experience in office, sales, or marketing is a plus but not required.
• Knowledge of social media or digital marketing tools is helpful.
• Bilingual ability (English/Japanese or English/Chinese) is a plus, but not required.
