Position Overview:
We are seeking a driven and experienced Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead and scale our U.S. operations. This role requires a proactive executive who can balance strategic planning with operational execution. The ideal candidate will drive new business opportunities, ensure operational excellence, and strengthen client partnerships, all while maintaining strong
financial controls and team alignment.
Key Responsibilities:
●Oversee day-to-day business operations including project delivery, financial management, client engagement, and team development.
●Cultivate and leverage strong relationships with key real estate developers, general contractors, and public construction firms.
● Negotiate high-value contracts and ensure favorable terms aligned with company profitability and payment expectations.
● Define and implement long-term business strategy, including service expansion, market penetration, and margin optimization.
●Support the Estimator and field teams in producing accurate takeoffs and maintaining consistent cost tracking systems.
● Standardize and enforce operating procedures across estimating, field operations, procurement, billing, and project management to drive accountability and efficiency.
● Establish a structured approach for identifying, qualifying, and securing new project opportunities, ensuring alignment with margin target, timeline feasibility, and internal capacity.
● Monitor and manage financial performance across P&L, working capital, and cash flow, while leading initiatives to accelerate client payment cycles.
●Provide visible leadership in the field, motivating teams and promoting a culture of safety, quality, and productivity.
●Uphold high standards in project execution, regulatory compliance, and client satisfaction.
● Collaborate with the Headquarter on reporting, strategic alignment, and cross- border initiatives.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
● 15+ years of leadership experience in landscaping, construction, or a similar project- based industry.
● Established network in the developer and construction community, with a track record of securing and executing large-scale commercial projects.
● Strong financial acumen with hands-on experience managing budgets, profitability, and operational performance.
● Effective and assertive communicator with the ability to negotiate and push for results under pressure.
● Field-savvy leader capable of building trust with labor crews and driving operational execution.
● Experience working with or within Japanese companies is a big plus.
● Bilingual in English and Japanese preferred but not required.
