Japanese manufacturing company is seeking Field Service Engineer! (Remote)

About the company:
Established in 2010, in Japan as a manufacturer of machine tools and injection-molding machines.
The company provides a wide range of products including horizontal machining centers, vertical machining centers, bridge mills, and boring mills. They also provide all-electric injection molding machines used for molding various types of plastic products, whereas the horizontal machining centers, bridge mills, and boring mills are used for high-speed and high-precision machining of large and heavy workpieces, and for small and medium-sized ones are the vertical machining centers.

Job Responsibilities:

Perform field service and maintenance on injection molding machines.
Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
Analyze and interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics.
Install, repair, and replace mechanical and electrical components.
Test and calibrate equipment to ensure proper function.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and resolving issues in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

Ability to travel 80% locally and domestically.
Basic knowledge of high voltage and low voltage electrical systems.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate installation and repairs.
Good communication skills to interact with clients and provide clear instructions.

Desired Skills:

Ability to read hydraulic and electrical schematics.
Ability to use a multimeter.
Ability to understanding of wiring when given prints.
